Why walk a long distance, when you can ride a bicycle?
Why run S&OP in Excel, when we can use better tools?
The 𝐛𝐢𝐜𝐲𝐜𝐥𝐞 is a brilliant human invention, of which we can make the most if we…
⇨understand the requirements
⇨select the appropriate one
⇨learn how to ride it
⇨keep on improving our fitness
⇨continuously care for a good set-up and maintenance of the bicycle
Same applies to 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬. Working with fragmented excel-sheets, monitoring “human interfaces” and manual data-crunching is a huge resource investment and not satisfying. Supported by a good tool, a planner will be much more effective and create 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 for S&OP decision-making.
I am interested to hear about your experience with SC Planning systems!
